Hey beauties! I hope everyone has been doing amazing. I recently celebrated getting another year older and with that came tons more makeup that I’m going to be reviewing for you guys so please bear with me, I feel like I’m drowning in makeup at the moment and have so much to do and so little time to do it. I do want to do a huge shout out to all of you who have been loyal and patient with me throughout my blogging experience and have stuck by my side through thick and thin; I truly appreciate you all more than I can express. I also want to take a quick moment to touch base on the giveaway that is going to be taking place very soon, I will be posting all details on it within the next 24-48 hours. Now without any further waiting let’s get into this palette…
This is the Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition Palette
This is a 21 color eyeshadow & highlighter palette that exudes the Youtube beauty maven’s signature glam-girl style. This palette features 11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in buttery, blendable formulas with staying power.
The shades include the entire top row, the 4th shade on the second row going left to right, the 3rd shade on the third row going left to right. The 2nd highlighter bar in the fourth row and the 1st and 2nd highlighter’s in the fifth row going left to right.
The palette casing is really pretty, it is magnetic, includes a mirror, it is a sturdy cardboard but cardboard nonetheless so be aware when placing it next to moisture because it will warp the texture of the casing. This palette includes a nice assortment of shimmers and matte shades as well as duo-chromes that are BEAUTIFUL!! These shades are highly pigmented and so velvety soft (except two which I will discuss shortly) and a little bit goes a long way. I have tried these shades both wet and dry and as expected they are more intense wet but are beautiful either way. The two bar highlighters do have a different texture that makes them feel a bit more stiff, they do have a lot of kick back (dust) in the pan unlike the other shades so keep that in mind when deciding to purchase this palette. I’m not bothered by kickback (dust) I simply blow it out, or pat it back down so it’s not a big deal to me, but I do know that some people have an issue with it, so it’s worth mentioning.
All in I really love this palette it’s worth the money, the packaging is beautiful, and all the shades are gorgeous. I think this palette would be great for beginners and professionals; and with the nice shade selection you can really get a lot of looks out of it.
